    Pretty standard stuff.

Recalls are good things, it means it’s going to be safer afterwards.

It also makes me wonder what other type of defect is lurking beneath me.
Ford had the most recalls in 2023.

I just hope the recalls stopped at end of 23. I got a 24 Tundra recently and love it but really hope I don't have engine problems. But if so, then I believe Toyota will do me right and hopefully get a new engine out of it.

2024 seems safe at the moment. Honestly with all the ford issues they were in my list, but I did debate between the tundra and the sierra. Spoiler was sierra also had issues.

Nowhere near the qty of Ford and Toyota. Sierra has some software quirks that they all have and the lifter issue which was really blown out of proportion, never developed into a recall. The NHTSB would have forced a safety recall had it ever gotten close to the numbers or Tundra engine failures.

You’re right, nowhere near the recall. My ford never had a recall but it did have the death wobble. Ford and dealer said no recall. Wasn’t a problem. Let me Tell you, it was a massive problem. The answer of just get off your breaking for a bit and it will fix, does not fix when you need to break. GMC blowing engines and stating it’s a driver error and no recall. I’ll take an actual recall with an actual fix for an real issue over their view of my death or car blowing not being statistically problematic enough to warrant a recall.

Driver error, that's a new one, never heard that. When the lifters go the truck goes into limp mode and can typically still be driven in an emergency and is covered by warranty.

As it is on the NHTSA site for 2021 trucks there are about 4 times as many complaints (over 600) listed for Ford and 2x for RAM. Recalls are 5 for GM, 11 for RAM and 19 for Ford.

If the lifter issue was a widespread as the Internet would have us believe, GM would recall.
