    A lot of it has been bought to ship to the disaster areas. There are lots of places here locally that are flying or driving stuff to NC but I'm sure some is being hoarded

    My town, really not bad. All power was supposed to be on by last Saturday night. Tons of trees (and power lines) and crap blown down, but compared to NC and TN nothing near as bad. Dont think we had any flooding. We were on the extreme east side of the storm. I am eternally grateful it was not worse here. Most stores had to throw out all their cold and frozen stuff since they lost power.

    My day was more like an episode of Cops today rather than a day of teaching.

    Everything went from 0-100 within 5 minutes… biting the principal… kicking the police…. swearing… spitting… school lockdown… handcuffs…

    I can’t wait to go up to the cabin Friday.

    I heard a bit about the TP/paper towel hoarding going on, I couldn't figure out what da hell was going on, I didn't think that the flood disasters would cause it. It didn't occur to me that the port workers goin on strike might have triggered it.
