Hey everyone I just bough some spindles with the total chaos gussets and I saw you need a 4.75 inches of backspacing, would this work with -6 offset and 255/80/17 wheels having a hard time trying to figure it out

    Time to geek out here!
Understanding backspacing and offset will help you do the math.

Back spacing is the distance between the inner lip edge of the rim to the mounting surface. If you have a 8 inch wide rim a centered rim (0mm offset) would have 4" backspacing

Offset is the amount of space from the mounting surface. When the mounting surface is moved in either direction from center, offset goes either negative or positive. Poke or positive offset is the rim pushing outward. Front wheel drive generall has negative offset of around 40 to 45mm.

If and you have an 8" wide rim with -9mm offset it would give you almost 4.5" backspacing. It would be 109mm (4x25mm + 9mm = 109mm). If you really need exactly 4.5" (112mm) backspacing on an 8" wide rim add 1/8" shim or 3mm.

yaya awesome thanks so I figured out my backspacing would come out or be 4.76 with some math and conversion so I should perfectly clear:)
