    If not welcome, I apologize for the request below. (no political blame or judgement intended)

    If you can afford it… the people are in NC/Western NC are really hurting, and will be for years… please find a way to help. Almost all infrastructure is GONE. I won’t get into the politics of it, but we have been told (by law enforcement) not to go out alone or without having your “safety’s off”. People are getting desperate. This is only being made worse by the current strike.

    The main charity I trust, and many in the area vouch for is Samaritans Purse.
