I was about to order some, but then I got in my car and it seems like I can make the same adjustment with the existing motorized control.

If your truck has the automatic seat adjustment, can't you just raise the front of the seat up (by pulling up on the front portion of the horizontal lever) and get the exact same effect?

Perhaps someone that has them can comment on the difference. Also, would love to hear from anyone that's 5'8"-5'10" and whether or not they like the jackers.

Some love them. Others take them off as soon as they sit down on them. Others learn to live with seat pads and existing adjustments. You need to decide for yourself to risk or not risk the $$.

I think some folks want even more front lift. I'm around 5'8" and there's times on long trips I'd like to raise the front of the seat a little more to give my legs more support.

I have a 2017 that came with a manual seat, always felt like the cushion angle was too flat so I installed seat jackers on the front of my drivers seat. Fast forward to this year and I installed a powered driver’s seat and after a bunch of farting around with the power seat I put the seat jackers in with the powered seat as well.

The majority of 3rd gen Tacomas did not come with power or height adjustable seats.

Also, I tried seat jackers in my manual seat, and my leg to torso ratio is very much in favor of leg. I hated them and immediately went back to stock.

I’m 5-9 and I have had the seat jackers for a couple years now. I actually just ordered and installed a second set under the front passenger seat.

I love them, they offer support under your thighs that you can’t get with the factory adjustments from the buttons. It really has helped eliminate lower back pain on longer drives. I have done a lot of 12-13 hour driving days in my truck so I’m speaking from experience. Not just driving around town.

In the short time I have had them under the passenger seat, my wife seems to also think they have helped eliminate lower back pain (from prolonged car rides) for her as well.

My 3rd gen does have the automatic seat adjustments. The seat jackers raise the front of the seats to a height you can’t reach with the buttons.

    2017 with no power seat:

I could only drive for an hour or so before getting achy, it seemed like my leg muscles were engaged all the time to keep me in place.

After adding the jackers (front only) I have driven over 800 miles in one day without difficulty.

If you can't get comfortable with the existing power seat adding them is worth a try.

I have driven vehicles from the 60's forward, only the old Chrysler bucket seats had the same lack of thigh support.

    I wasn't expecting a problem with a Toyota 40+ years newer...o_O

23 with power seat. Nope you can't duplicate them by adjusting you seat all the way up. I've done 18 hr drives with and without and I like mine alot more then stock. Just buy them, I have actual seat jackers but you can get knock offs for dirt cheap to try.

Thank you. Did not know that.
I am 6ft tall, 34" inseam. Longest drive in a Taco, so far, was 400 miles, stopped for gas. My legs and back were OK. Different strokes for different folks?

Things are different for me day-to-day, maybe hour-to-hour. After a 5 hour hike with 4000 ft of elevation change, seat position can change. Deep into a 5 hour drive I sometimes recline the seat to a more leg-stretched position than for driving is busier traffic.

6-3 with a ‘21 OR here, and will echo some of the other comments.

The power seat wouldn’t tilt the front up enough to provide the rear thigh support I need for long drives. The jackers do the trick for me, YMMV. The molle panel that installs between the jackers (can’t think of the name right now) gives you a good storage spot also.

Wow, thanks everyone, good feedback. I have a 3D printer so I'm going to design some quick ones just to sit on it and then I'll order the real deal, but a lot of the discussion/feedback here was what I was looking for.

    I didn’t care for them
And I have the power adjustable seats
I sent them back and received a full refund
But it seems most people love them

I had power adjustable seat in a 23 limited nightshade and still put seat jackers in. I like that leg support, and having the seat ‘keep’ my butt back in the seat. Still got achy legs in that truck really bad. Now with the 24 and more upright seating position, its far more comfortable.

edit: seems like “seat jackers” is a brand? I just used an Amazon version.

some will argue these reduce the safety wrt how well your seat keeps you bolted in to place in the cab. They aren’t wrong, it’s different than factory (by what I assume is some small percentage)… but any number of other things have significant impacts on your crash safety, like aftermarket bumpers, suspension, or other modifications, and your driving behaviours

Shit I found on CL or EBAY that I could screw on.
It's really subjective. I've had my truck for 4 years. Did the seat jackers 2 years ago. They're still in there. I may not like the position to the wheel, but the position is more comfortable on my legs. 6'0". Just did 7.5 hours each way, all interstate, and only needed to stretch at the gas stations.
