Who welded this? Was it a JD fab part?

Just no realizing how long it’s been since I’ve updated!

The truck is now complete and back on the road with 100 flawless miles down.

The steering is absolutely phenomenal. Moves 37’s effortlessly. It is currently 1 turn lock to lock. I am undecided if I will stay with this ratio or not. It has good manners on the road, no bad tendencies. But it is fast. Really fast. I could make this setup 1 turn lock to lock or as much as 2.5 turns. So the options are endless.

The rear was a last minute decision. I completely changed the rear geometry from what it was. This solved many issues while providing 4 extra inches of travel. It was a big deal and I have zero regrets. No more improper shackle angles, No more wrap. No more rear rise under acceleration and best of all it’s far more plush.

I plan to take this rear geometry and develop a kit. With a 16” shock 19+ is achievable. With a 14” you will be strapping around 18.

I noticed that the center console isn't installed. Does it fit with the PRP seats?

It fits but I chopped it behind the shifter so the 3rd seat passenger has max foot room

Hey Cory, I still don’t have a 100% mental picture of how you have tied that front LCA cross member into the frame. Any way you can snap some detailed pics next time you have it up on the lift ?

Honestly not a whole lot more to see than what’s already posted. Cut the JD pivot tubes as close as I could to the front pivots, over sleeved the JD 1.5” tube with 1.75x.120 4130. Those tubes tie directly into the back side of the crossmember.

Then the bumper ties direct to it and the front of the frame with more 1.75x.120. Then there are some small 1.25x.188 uprights.

Man what a treat this truck has been this year. Crested 7k miles since May 17th. A bunch of long distance dirt trips, long distance car shows and daily driving it. It’s almost at a point right now where I would feel foolish for changing anything. The steering is an absolute dream with absolutely no issues. The rear end is flawless. Pretty pumped to have it at this point of straight do anything reliability.
