I wouldn't walk across that, hell I wouldn't even want to watch somebody walk across that.

I want to say that the bridge across the intermediate silos is the scariest one to walk. Its a toss up between this one and the stairs on the load-out silos.
Its not that high up, maybe 150-170 feet off the ground, vs the towers where the top deck is 225, the pipe work is closer to 260. But that bridge is long, shakey, and like everywhere else the floor is see-through mesh. Scariest place to stand is where this photo was taken. Its a suspended platform 15 feet beyond the edge, so if you look down, its a long look.

we used to never have power outages - then they started happening more n more often
from once every other year to multiple times a year
whole house propane set up + maintenance cost was $$$$
so i had the electrician put in a breaker interlock [way cheaper than a transfer panel/auto transfer box]
    and i got a portable 9500W gas/propane generator - total was about 2K
works fine, i gotta go hook it up, start it and throw a switch but it keeps me up and running

glad you are doing okay - hopefully you get your power back soon!

Yea had a bad propane and gas situation too, figure natural gas and underground lines might be my friend in the long run!

i have an 800gal propane tank buried in my front yard
we have power and fiber but that is it for 'infrastructure' here
the generator i got will run off of regular unleaded but it will also run off that propane tank - i just need a hose

and yeah i had a sketchy situation with one of the gas lines that runs under my house to my propane dryer - it was NOT cool; just grateful the house didn't blow up and I fired that gas company ASAP - not fun at all!!

Do either of your states have "storm preparedness weekend?"

One weekend a year, things like first aid kits, emergency supplies, and generators can be had without sales tax.

I usually wait until that weekend to buy camping stuff.
