Quicksand Tailgate Paint

I’ve had this 2017 quicksand Tacoma for about 3 months now. I just noticed today while cleaning it an area of paint on the tailgate that is cracking. Should i be worried and what’s the best way to fix this? I have not hit anything. Love the truck otherwise!

 

Was the truck in an accident prior to your purchase? Looks to me like cracking bondo from a cheap repair job.

 

No accidents, i bought it from a dealership.

 

Are you sure the dealership didn’t do any bodywork pre-delivery? How many miles on it when you got it? Any chance is was a loaner (from something like the frame programs) or driver by one of the dealership management?
