Back on that deck project I'm helping with. Wrapped up my part on this project today. I built/finished the stairs and stair railings and helped with all of the balusters on the lower portion of the deck (those align with the ones above). Oh and mounted the posts and installed the decking and railing parts on the upper deck. My customer did all of the other railings and balusters. The spacing is all over the place. I don't like it at all, it's way too busy looking imo. I suggested more traditional skirting (see last pic from another job), but was overruled. Oh well, customer is happy. Customer is doing the balusters on the upper deck in the near future.

Well, I know my UPS guy hates me, and I also know what I will be doing with my winter weekends. I figured this thread would appreciate a huge pile of..boring OEM parts. And this is the small stuff, not shown: radiator, leaf springs, shocks and struts...I start tomorrow and we'll see how many months this all takes, hah!

There’s a lot of work to clean my balls.
I usually do one a day. If not the room gets overheated and it gets hard to breathe.
If I have to epoxy some big dents, I’ll usually do that at the start of the process.
I need my balls smooth…

 

Never realized that bowling balls got chipped and were repairable. Obviously I’m not a bowler. Ball maintenance is kinda humorous, but it’s TW

 

Morning.
Early haircut today.
Class reunion today. I’m not going cause the few people I hung around with aren’t going.
I don’t like large crowds or parties or drinking anyway so I’m not going to miss anything.
The only sobering thing is 42 classmates have passed on.
Saw a few pics of the real nice looking girls and big deal jocks and euuuuuu. So I can imagine what I look like.
Found out they are going to go for a trail walk this am. Maybe I might show up on the bike, shake my head, and leave.
