Hurricane Helene foiled my wheeling plans for the weekend, but it also required me to make a supply run up to my family's place in Madison, where the eye went over. Bunches of trees down, but the cabin is in tact still....

500 mile round trip total loaded down with spare tire, two coolers of ice, chainsaws, fuel for chainsaws, 10 gallons for generators, and a corn slinger off the bumper.

Sorry to hear this but just as long as everyone is safe is the best we can hope for.
Can I ask why the spreader?

Well we were at a 110 Sunday 108 today & 110 tomorrow and it’s Oct. 1st. This shit is flat stupidity! So the ocean water temps going up develops more & more powerful Hurricanes, Tornadoes and Excessive heat. Shit this Global Warming thing sucks!
I know one thing is as soon as my wife retires the end of this school year we are looking for a cooler climate to move to…

Got a lot of stuff lol
It's a hidden nitrous bottle holder. Gotta keep the weight behind the axle for traction.

Or it's for deer idk lol

I replaced the original track bar bracket with a modified RuffStuff version that I raised up and out, along with adding gussets and tabs for the hydro-assist. Threw the fittings on the box and made some quick lines out of some field serviceable parts and off I went.

Now to get ready for the next Hurricane in a few days

    Todd,
Please excuse my ignorance but the big power steering box on the frame rail doesn’t have enough power?

On road? yes. Off road? no. A front locker will make anything a nightmare to steer without an assist ram. Not to mention, that steering box is from a truck with a 4cyl and 29" tires

    My bad!!
I totally forgot about the locker! I was thinking you had a limited slip or helical-gear (TrueTrec) style of limited slip.

Lighting/Electrical portion has been mostly completed. I refuse to spend money on high end lighting, as you will see

    - Auxbeam 6 gang switch panel
    - Positive terminal distribution block mounted
    - cheap ass halogen fog lights from Amazon
    - cheap ass short ditch lights from Amazon

Backup lights and interior lights yet to be mounted but are in my possession.

.... then maybe wheeling this month!?!?

Blew the trans cooler while out of town around Thanksgiving. The knock-off that was in it sprung a leak. But, the new one is in and working as should. I made sure it was an authentic name-brand cooler this time.

Noticed that I had a bunch of axle wrap going on as the ujoint straps were dented from the driveshaft hitting it so I recycled the traction bar off of my old Tacoma and got that thrown on

I love the way the winch is hidden behind the OE bumper!
Well progress finally on mine. They got the factory AC switch working so now I can get rid off the aftermarket power switch for the AC. They are working on the cruise control switch so I can have cruise with the Factory stock switch. I’m working on installing a 3.5” aluminum pipe into the factory air cleaner box so it will get outside air. The tech is telling me to leave in the Fast & the Furious air intake I installed in the fender when it was supercharged. I was going to get it powder coated body color so it didn’t look so stupid!

Hey you two are the only ones I can think of who *MIGHT* have this part laying around?
It’s the formed piece of steel that the U-bolts go through that holds the rear leaf springs to the axle. Then the bottom of the rear shocks attach to the part.
They are worth money to me‼️ My local parts guy priced out a set to me @ $219 for the set out the door. I called a couple of wrecking yards and they all told me small parts like those are scrapped or sold with the complete rear axle including leafs. Both yards had the trucks in stock that this part comes with. :notsure:

    https://toyota.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/toyota-seat-4847304031

Oh, we are slowly getting the wiring straightened out. God it was a total mess‼️
I’m really surprised that my truck didn’t do this on the way home! :bananadead:
