I have a stock 2014 Tacoma Single Cab 4x4, currently has factory 245/75/16. Looking at a set of factory wheels/tires from a 2012 that are 255/65/17. It looks like the same lug nut pattern and I believe these are the same generation? Would I have any issues fitting them without any sort of rubbing or lift/level kit?

You would need to know the part numbers.

I do not know why someone would have 255/65r17 on a Tacoma. Sounds like you are dealing with someone else’s internally created problem. That is not a common size.

    265 70 17 etc is a common size.
If someone has some weirdo shit like 235 65 or whatever the fuck I’d probably not pay attention to that.

wheels say dimensions on the wheel.

As long as its a 6 lug between 2005-2023 rims will fit 100%

255/65R17 is not a valid size, they are likely 265/65R17

255/65R17 is smaller in diameter, its likely a typo.

That's a strange size (for a taco/4runner/FJ). They'll fit. They're 30" overall diameter, perfectly fine for a stock 2nd/3rd gen without issues. Depending on brand (those are 30.1", a random 245/75r16 was 30.3), they'll ride about the same height wise as your current.

Make sure you check the date code on the tires.

Yeah they'll fit fine its just a little weird size but if it was a good deal and you don't care then why not. However it looks like the date code on those tires says 2016 so that's pretty old in age. Even if the tread is deep enough they may not be safe or worth purchasing.
