I made this years ago but since switching to an RTT setup I don’t use this anymore. It’s made of 3/4” birch(?) I believe. And carpeted. I cut a notch at the tailgate on either end of the last panel to accommodate my AtTheHelm bed stiffeners.

This setup is made up of three panels designed to stack at the cab to utilize bed space when not in use. The underside of the panels have a support board, in which the front and back panels fit into the notch on the sides of the bed.

I have slept on this on numerous occasions and it’s very sturdy. If you want more support you could run a board lengthwise under the panels, but I didn’t feel it was necessary.
