I lied, it’s pretty good wind noise at 80mph doing the speed limit. Nothing unbearable though. I’m sure a snorkel would have pretty good noise too

lol I knew there was noise somewhere but that’s probably still bearable!

I had a funny thing happen today.

I fill up at shell like 99.9% of the time because I trust their gas. I had to fill up at Sheetz yesterday and then when I had my 5,000 mile service done today the tech said that he noticed a knock while he was test driving it and said it’s probably from bad gas.

Go figure the one time in 2 years I didn’t get Shell gas and he hears something…

 

Dang. Well that’s no fun but at least they said what it was probably from. Some people swear by different brands of gas. I don’t have a local Sheetz so nothing to worry about from them. I usually stop at Rofo or Wawa.

At higher speeds it’s just like driving on a windy day. I’ll have to wait till my wife takes a ride with me to see if she says anything.

Yep! The last few days before vacation are always the worst, I swear time slows down to almost a complete stop lol. I feel like its been today for 5 days

 

when I used to write service I had a customer come in with a check engine light on. tech checks it and code comes up lean gas. the customer was driving a mb that required 93 octane. pretty sure they were putting in 87.

 

Interesting. Yeah it was so minor that I honestly didn’t notice it. Even after he mentioned it to me, I still couldn’t really hear it. Oh well
