Well, now that's a bummer. We have a lot of leaves also already fallen, but the majority are still on the trees, and at least some leaves are turning colors. Will know over the next couple weeks how it will all tun out for this year.

My wife is giving me constant requests to do little things, I am busy. They have to be done right away.

She invites her friend over and asks, are you going to eat with us?

Afternoon gang.

for those in the path of Milton

 

When I retire I might just tell my wife I'm still working but changed shifts. That way I can relax at home until maybe an hour before she gets home then go hang at the bar for a bit and get home right after she does.

 

Retired life: today the gas fireplace insert needed to be cleaned and dusted to be able to use as it’s starting to get colder. The bathroom heater needed the same. I was left dishes to load in the dishwasher, run, and unload. I was left a love letter to put my towels in the washer and run a load of laundry. Then they needed to be dried and put away along with putting out new towels. Had to fry up ground turkey for the dog and wash the pan. I’m now tired.

 

What we need is an old farts community center with welders and table saws, vehicle lifts, drill presses. Oh yeah,a kitchen and several couches

 

Yeah, kinda my schedule today

 

Actually I’m doing stuff that I have put off for years
