Nearly 17” of rain overnight…puts that goofy hurricane to shame

 

Looks like Helene is going to be a monster by landfall. Florida already feeling it's effects. Chance of 20 foot storm surge in the big bend area.

Be safe TW members in the area! Looks like it's no joke.

 

Was supposed to be in Tampa today through Saturday for a bachelor party. Needless to say, that didn't work out...

 

Milton looks to be a doozie...crazy how fast it went from a CAT 1 to CAT 5 sis in law and nieces are just north of orlando, hopefully inland fairs ok.

 

Was going to post "Going to be a big one," but it already is. Holy hell.

 

Yea that one got strong fast. Hopefully their forecast of it dying down a little due to wind shear will hold true.

 

Let's hope this storm dies down by the time it makes landfall

Just went through it in Tampa. Lots of wind and rain but we didn't lose power.

 

I missed the landfall, what area was the hardest hit? Did it turn out to be Tampa?

it’s good hearing that someone made it though without even losing power!

 

It landed south of tampa in siesta key. Unfortunately we were in the north side of the storm that had a lot ofweather.
