I have a 2015 base model access cab that did not come with the back up camera installed. I purchased one off of Amazon that says it should be plug and play. When I plug it in it does nothing different. Any help would be appreciated

Are you using the original radio head unit or a replacement aftermarket unit?

Your problem is that this replacement uses 12v to power the camera. The original equipment camera and radio work off 6 volt system. I know it’s weird and most OE cameras seem to use 6v output from the radio.
It would be perfect for aftermarket radios which use 12v to power cameras.

i installed this one and it worked perfectly with the OEM radio
