After retiring from Interstate Battery, I am happy that someone else know the facts.

Replaced the battery in my 2018 a few months ago. I was happy with 6 years out of it! Went with a Walmart everstart after watching project farms video on battery replacements

It's really a mindset thing with me. Ten years pushing nuclear submarines around the globe will do that to you. We replaced critical items before they died, not when they died.

In the grand scheme of things, batteries are still pretty damn cheap and modern vehicles rely more and more on them these days. Like I said, I'm a 5 year guy living in north Georgia. You guys going 7+ years are pushing that envelope. But that's okay I guess, it ain't a submarine!

Definitely have had some batteries a bit past the 5 year mark. I think most of the time I have the hood open, look at the battery and see how bad it is. Then I remember to check the date...

Battery on my 23 Sport was replaced under warranty last month. During the 30K oil change service, the battery failed a load test. Starter spins much faster now.
