Hi. I have an older Leer cap with a hinged front window. The latches that keep it closed are fine but where the latches are supposed to slide into are gone. Worn away. Bumpy roads ate the metal. It rattles and lets dust in. I never open this window and never plan to. I'm looking for something to glue the whole thing in place. Any ideas?

Want to update for anyone with the same problem. I used a caulking/seam sealer for motorhomes. It's called Geocel. Little pricey but the stuff worked. 200 miles of bad dirt road and it's perfect.
