    All sides down = ok

    Sides down, rear flap up = ok

    All sides up = ok

    Any side up but rear flap down = not ok

    I have.
    Not often, but no issues.
    I cut a couple rings from an old hose and fit them on the tailgate flap bar near the canvas so the bar wouldn't work itself out.
