AP uniballs freeplay

    I just acquired a set of Allpro 1" uniballs. I have never dealt with uniball uca's before. I was wondering, when they are new, is a uniball super tight like an oem "ball joint" or do they move fairly easily.

    Thanks for any help!

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    i just replaced my 1" uniballs this weekend. brand new, you probably cant move them with your hand. once they are pressed in, give them a good coat of teflon dry lube and install on the truck. the ones i took off were freeballing in the sleeve:D

    ^^^ U said freeballing! I can spin these around pretty freely. I'm gonna replace em and just have em fresh when I put them on.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    yeah...we used a bandsaw and cut one apart. the teflon liner inside the sleeve was compressed and the ball was rotating a full 360* in every direction w/o effort. you will notice a difference after they are replaced.

    i got them used off here. they've been on my truck for at least 2 1/2 years though and ~55k miles. as for the abuse, wheeling and deep mud.
