3.5 lift, 315/75-16, DIY hybrid front bumper, skids, sliders, ditch lights, hood struts, tailgate lock, bed rack, custom exhaust, horn meant for an actual truck, neoprene seat covers
    I bought tires online
    - mounted at my local small tire store 4 miles away about a week after I'd put on my lift
-- drove home really slow with fewest amount of hard turns possible(lol)
--- then marked what parts of the body, fender, frame mounts were in the way
---- pulled off front tires and started cutting, welding, beating, bending, and otherwise getting rid of anything that got in the tires way
----- then drove to AZ Toy Pros and got alignment done.

Rides nice. Rubs only under extreme compression while turning when I'm bouncing through ruts and ravines 4x4ing, but I just use that to decide what to remove next for clearance. :sawzall:

You can feel the tire weight, but honestly it's not bad. I did get a tune shortly after putting on tires and that helped with sorting out the gear hunting and took away a most of the sluggishness.
I have no problem keeping up to my buddies rolling stock tires/tune when taking off from lights.

To be honest, when current set wears out, I may just downsize to 295/75-16's. The larger 315 looks cool, but isn't really needed for offroading, and the added clearance of 35" > 34" means that with what I've done so far I should never rub again.

I'm struggling to decide a 285/75 or a 255/85. I want to go 255, but in a 16 my options are limited and can't decide on a tire.

265/70/17… no problems with slight lift via front 5100 shocks. Kept same sitting profile by adding a slight lift to the rear springs. upload_2023-2-12_21-30-47.jpg

    Hey Taco Bros (and Bells),
Finally mounted up 255/85/16s on my ‘21 TRDPro. Straight up stock Fox 2.5 Pro package from factory. Went with Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx - not many choices in 255/85/16. Rides nice. Not too noisy. GRIPPY in the snow and mud - love ‘em! Lost maybe 1-2 MPG. Ever so slight rubbing tire to mud flap - not even going to bother cutting (rubber to plastic will wear in). Looks Badazz. Pics don’t do it justice. From

Heard this doesn’t sit well on the wheel, cause the thread to round up on the top? Any problems so far?

1.5" Spidertrax Spacers. Tires rubbed at first so I put on Bilstein 5100's up front on the 4th notch (1.55" lift). No more rubbing after that, I might even put the front mud flaps back on.

How it should have come from the factory, 1 inch higher and 265s. I used a .5 inch front spacer and I happen to use a 1 3/16 rear block to help maintain a little rake with the topper. It rides the same and the alignment didn’t even change.IMG_2221.jpg

In my opinion if you’re walking the dealer and there is a whole mess of Tacos sitting there, I feel like something called a TRD Off Road should sit a pinch higher than the rest.

265/75r16 cooper at3's, 6112/5160, RXT stage 1, hammer hangers, JBA UCA's, super bumps all around. Maybe 1"+ in the front and 3/4" in the rear. Doesn't look like much but works great and my drive line angles are excellent.

None yet added some things. Still contemplating if I should get a small lift. I want to take it out on more trips with a skid plate and see how it does.
Did you have to add any spacers? i’m looking to do the same thing i have the same stock rims. i plan on lifting it first then getting that tire size.
