    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Have a friend that's asking. Fortunately this doesn't apply to me (I don't have ABS).

Where would one find an ABS module for an 02 Double cab? Would it be the same as a 4Runner?

They are BORA, though for a 1/2" spacer, where there's no real force on the spacer itself (vs. a wider spacer where a second set of lugs are held by the spacer itself), I'm not sure brand matters that much.

I don’t need spacers, more curious than anything. I’ve used non hub centric spacers, like the cheapo 1/4” aluminum ones. Even with extended lug studs I felt there were some weird vibrations. I’m sure they were fine, possibly just because the local tire shop couldn’t balance 33’s on steel wheels, but I’d prefer the ones like you have if I ever needed to run them.

Just put on new tires and powder coated 16x8 steelies. 265/70R16 Falken Rubitrek A/T's. Looks awesome and I love the classic utility look of the white steelies. So far the Rubitreks are pretty quiet on the hwy. I dont do much off-roading, if any, but I'm sure they'll do what I need them to.

Bought this from auction a few months back. Been getting it back in shape.
Replaced front end bushing and links, Switched shocks to Bilstein 5100.
    20240308_173959.jpg20241011_123922.jpg
Got the front grill and bumpers cleaned up.

Only engine work so far has been replacing the gasket next to the oil filter.
Looks better, rides better. So I am finally cruising. Noticed dead spots in steering and leaking bushing on rack. Will try some stop leak. Unfortunatly had gurgling in the top radiator hose. It took a good 1/3 of a jug to get back to full so fingers crossed it was that and not the head gasket. Its offically my Blackberry and my around town cruiser to keep miles off my diesel beast.

Well I'll be damned. My old neighborhood from NJ.

The neighbor in the yellow house to the right was named Anthony, and the neighbor in the blue house in the center was Tony. I'm not sure about the people in the white house next to the blue house.

Attempted her first start in 2 years after rebuilding the head. Was super paranoid I didnt get the timing right so I pulled the valve cover to quintuple check it, Id rather waste my time than find out it was wrong lol. Timing was good, so put a bit of oil in the cylinders, plugs/coils disconnected, fuel line disconnected and ran a line into a gas can.

Priming #1 the starter didnt move at all. Pulled the starter and pulled it apart and it looked flawless, just cleaned up contacts and insides a bit and reassembled then tested it out of the truck and it spun fine (not a clue what we changed, guess it was just seized up somehow), reinstalled and then Priming #2 it turned over perfectly. Cranked it for a little bit then decided to hook the autel up to pump the old fuel out by switching the fuel pump on manually.

Got most of the old fuel out, refilled with a couple gallons then reassembled the plugs/coils/intake/fuel line. First real start and fuel began spewing out of what looked like every injector so I think I mustve installed the injectors incorrectly. I put brand new seals on them so the seals *shouldnt* be bad, I was reading about some people having difficulty with installation of injectors because the seals can bind up if they arent seated right. I will have to check. Called it there for today though.

Nothing fancy, just rustoleum yellow. Golden Sunset specifically. We'll see how it holds up.

2 days to put in a new suspension on the taco instead of going to the stealership. first time doing anything on my truck other than basic fluids. youtube is so underrated:
    bilstein 5100/OME 2881s
    MOOG UCA’s
    OEM LBJ’s
    Mavotech UBJ’s
    Aftermarket CV’s

replaced my toytec/bilstein 5100s which were too stiff and wearing out my suspension. The front lowered around 1 inch and I kind of like the rake

Ok got the truck started. Very exciting. Fixed the fuel injectors, as I suspected the o-rings were pinched so I let them sit in the sun and even out then put a tiny bit of oil on them and reinstalled in the fuel rail. Tried to start again and it still wouldnt start, this time no spark. Checked the coil connectors and realized it wasnt grounding for some reason. Checked grounds and they all seemed good. Cleaned out the intake manifold ground thoroughly and reinstalled and started right up.

Swapped out my grille and rear bumper and painted the chrome on the front bumper. Forgot to take before pics, so pulled some random shots for comparison.
