For you OTA people. I have rabbit ears setup on all my tv’s. Been through a couple storms and hurricanes where power and Internet were affected. So I keep ota setup and I also use a Tablo as an ota dvr, as there are some ota channels not on my Youtube tv sub.

Don't know if goats would or could eat it, maybe laurel, but the bigger rhododendron has bases on it that are inches thick and is over our heads in a lot of places along with lots of branches with green leaves going from the base to the top going in every direction. You sure as heck don't want to have to fight your way through it to get out of an area if you can't find a path or a corridor out.

Evening Carl... they wouldn't eat the bases, but they will clean the branches off. I've seen video's of them absolutely destroying areas full of brush https://video.search.yahoo.com/yhs/...=763d9b1f837ef310dcc7397863da5152&action=view

We have some huge flood control ditches around us. They are 70+ yards across and about 25 feet deep. They run for many miles. After winter they become completely over grown with weeds and brush. A couple years ago the county started using goats to clear out the ditches. They bring a couple goat herders and a couple hundred goats in. The goats eat everything down to stubble. They do a great job. It apparently is way cheaper to use goats than the large weed and brush cutting equipment and the equipment operators they use to use. And it is quite environmentally friendly. And they are fun to watch. I’ve even seen them up on some low tree branches trying to eat the trees. Goats will definitely get the job done.

Good morning. Today is a concert that starts around noon at a location on the other side of the bay bridge. In the summer the traffic going across the bridge on a Saturday morning is pretty heavy, and if there is something forcing one of the lanes to close it is near impossible. Should be a fun day. Part came in for my smoker Thursday afternoon and I replaced it on Friday. Smoked up some beer brats to put into a casserole for dinner last night.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/rabbit ears. I'm home from an 8-day driving trip to/from Birmingham AL, where I -- you'll never believe it -- drove some more! My son and I spent two days at Barber Motorsports Park doing a Porsche driving event. It was the experience of a lifetime. My first time at speed on a racetrack, ever. Also my first time on a skidpad, this one being a wet skidpad, which meant almost zero traction. There were also a few cone setups for learning to brake in various ways, plus another cone layout for autocross. But the track time was the real excitement, and we had quite a bit of it. It wasn't cheap, but I think we got what we paid for. It was very well organized, ran like clockwork, the instructors were all top notch, and the track was just spectacular. I want to go back!

:pccoffee: Good Morning and Hook 'Em Porch Pals and Sue! Got up to find those 80's promised for Monday are now slipping away to Wednesday, and if tomorrow gets to the predicted 99, that's a record. Was going to go to a local Toyota shop open house this morning, but my stomach was already travelling, so no. College games, some putz, and chili dogs!

They use goats to clear beside the walking trails in downtown Austin. They draw a crowd, and eat everything, even the poison ivy.

    Afternoon all:

The goats sound like a good plan, we need to contact the PA game commission about using them since these places are either on state game lands, or a state park, you know what their answer would be! Maybe we could keep a couple on a leash to just chew a path in for us.

Saw something neat this morning, an owl flying down the middle of the road and then landing on the side of the road with a rabbit that it had just caught, definitely something you don't see too often or maybe never!

My buddy and his 2 grandkids saw 3 deer this morning, 2 while walking in, and 1 while on stand, no shot available though, I saw nothing!

That 1970 Buick GSX was very clean . The owner told me only 678 were built that year . The color code it was painted is Saturn Yellow

Good morning. Yesterday was a fun day just doing practically nothing but having fun. Today will be a few small items around the home and getting the Halloween decorations up.

    Morning all:

All nice cars Chuck, those 66/67 Chevy II's are good looking cars, friend of mine had one with a 283 in it that was the same color with a black vinyl top. Often thought about how much better it would run with a 365hp 327 in it, better yet a 375hp fuelie! :)
Gotta Laugh , he traded the Chevy II in for a 69 350hp SS396 Chevelle ragtop which couldn't touch me, yea he tried :)! One day he approached me and said, "how's your pig running", my reply was "a little better than your pig", he got pissed off and wouldn't talk to me for about a month or so!:laugh::laugh:

Forgot to mention, while sitting at the gas station where I make a coffee stop, my buddy said he saw the ugliest car that he ever saw drive by. From what he described I think it was a Tesla cyber truck, probably the same one that I had seen since it's in the general area.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Going to water the potted plants after a custom breakfast. If it hits 100, it will be the latest day in the year to have done so, and a record, of course. So, Hook 'Em and Go Lions!

Pic of wifey putting the torch to the Sa'more cupcakes! Graham cracker crust in the bottom, chocolate cupcakes hollowed out, center filled with gooey chocolate that oozes, marshmallow frosting with the torch! Yummy!

And a couple weeks ago, when I changed the MAF, I actually got a second oil change in the SAME year. That's been a while!
