Damn.. better scope the parking lot for someone with bumper damage and your paint on it. Sucks. Any cameras? start filling up those karma buckets so it doesn’t happen again.

Damnit. You should be able to find another car, with your slider imprint. Good luck, I would certainly be searching the lot for the offender.

I should have mentioned that the person who hit me came to my office to own up to it thankfully. And yeah, I should definitely buy a lottery ticket soon. Haha

Applied WoolWax this weekend to my 2023 OR. It was my first time applying a DIY undercoating.

I got the pro spray gun from Woolwax with 4 bottles of black. Put the truck on jackstands and the bottles in a bucket of hot water and went to town. 3 hours later these are my lessons learned.
    1. Use a bigger tarp for over spray. Something like a 9x19 would be good.
    2. The straight through flexible wand worked better for me than just using the tip. Though be careful when bending the wand around to get in the nooks and crannies, it can kink and then the back pressure creates blow back through the top of the bottle. Took me cleaning that mess up twice before I got the hang of it.
    3. A disposable cover all is a must if you don't want to hear "those clothes are NOT going in the washing machine".
    4. You'll need a light when working under the truck. It was tough seeing into those nooks and crannies without one.
    5. The 360 wand was very useful.
    6. Not sure how well I got the top sides of the frame members covered. Wish there was a 90 degree accessory to help with those.
    7. I left the tires on. Probably would have been better to take them off.
Overall, I'm very happy with how it turned out. Hopefully I won't have to go through such a thorough covering next year and it will only require touch up.

You may have read it a few times. I blew a fuse on one of the vanity lights (and I only changed them on the pax side; no way I could stand the brightness on the driver side that close to my eyeballs). Not a big deal to replace the fuse.

FWIW, all LEDs (all diodes in fact) only let current flow one way. That part I understand; I don't understand why if I put one in backwards it caused a fuse to blow. Next time I do anything electrical other than replace a headlight bulb I'll do the smart thing and pull the related fuses or disconnect the battery.

Why not the Meso dual-color? Just curious ... aside from the obvious "price difference".

"Disconnect the battery" is the most common advice about doing anything electrical. Except for lights that are often replaced (headlights, taillight bulbs, etc.) that seem to be buffered, other systems can blow fuses (at least).

I got the AUTOGINE brand, and they were Amazon's choice...

This (late) morning I went to leave and when I opened the door I was surprised at how much brighter it was inside the truck, clean view in the bottom of the cup holders even... Very satisfied...

Now how long they will last, only time will tell... lol

The kit I got already has the LED tag lights in it, I just choose not to install them, I have read on here, trouble with them putting a glare on the back-up light camera...

Plus, I don't care if people can see my tags really good or not... lol

My exact reasoning for not putting the tag bulbs in when I installed the Diode kit as well.

Just got the DD Stealth 30 inch light bar. Looking forward to getting that installed. Hopefully help spotting moose before I am next to them. Noticed the 3rd gen headlights project well, but cut off pretty low. Last winter I was up to a couple moose, standing up on the snowbanks, before I would have been able to stop. Hitting one of those is going to scratch the paint.

Looks just like mine, except i took the decals off the back end. Gives it a cleaner look when washed and waxed.
