    Ok fair enough.

The two phrases that really caught my eye were "gets worse with speed" and "cruise control."

And those were the two that I zeroed in on, because cruise when towing is a nono, and speed when towing is also a nono.

I tow my 3500 pound trailer plus cargo in the bed up to 12 hour days, though if I can help it I try for four hour days. My truck doesn't gear hunt. Because i keep cruise off and my speed appropriate to the conditions (and always under 70).

No shit, this member hauls for a living and mad miles on his Tacoma. He’s asking for a different deal.

I was going to recommend KDMAX SPORT+. I had Sport, normal driving, and Sport+ pushing the ECT button. Kicked ass in mountainous driving.

I would go S5 and adjust as your driving conditions change.

I thought I read or heard KDMAX doesn’t mess with cruise control. So those are stock parameters kicking in(?)

If you want more grunt down low while keeping that famous 3.5 punch at 3500 rpm’s, YotaWorx ftw.
