I have the Icon Stage 1 you posted above. But I bought it from CSP Racing for a fraction of the price. It is surprisingly smooth. Maybe a touch firmer than stock. And the front doesn’t harshly bottom out. Which was the main reason I ditched the stock suspension. I did lower the coilovers a bit from how they were delivered. Too high. No diff drop, so can’t comment on that. Running stock UCA.

I did just buy the rear Icon .5” coils (ICON-51213), will report on them once installed.

CSP Racing ships extremely fast as well. I recommend

Not sure why Fox is taking so long to release products for the new tacos

I think the non-adjustable kings are under 3K but just barely, UCAs would not fit the budget.

Ok.. Had to add Kings into the conversation! Got an offer that’s going to be hard to refuse? Anyone with recent knowledge or experience with Kings in a cold climate? Like in the last 2-3 winters? Did they leak?

    Check out Elka.
I ran a set of 2.5 on my 21 Tundra and they were better than Fox I had on a 17 F150 by a long shot.

I would spend that suspension budget on Accutune Kings.

I have been that guy who bought “off the rack” triple bypass 2.5s and had them be amazing off road, and ass on the street, esp over time.

Reading reviews on ride quality with 2.5s, seems owners of Accutune “valved” Kings are the most comfortable daily driven performance shock at the moment.

I’ve had kings for more than 5 years in Idaho and no leak. They definitely rust though and my blue coils look really bad with the weak powdercoat flaking off easily

Good to know.. ACF-50 should solve the rust problem.

What problems did you have with the Icons?

I have Kings on my '15 and '24 Tacoma. I live 6300' in the Sierras. We get a sh%t ton of snow here. Never had a problem with them leaking.

My rear icon shocks also leaked oil after two years in a warm San Diego climate.

Icon did be nice and sent me a new top hat when I broke mine. I sold my Icons and replaced with King shortly after that. King is my vote!
