Require parking lights help

What’s the best way to rewire parking lights because my ohm to ground

Are you saying that you have an open circuit?

 

Both wires ohm to ground
Does that mean I have a short somewhere?
At least that’s what I thought . So in stead of tracking that down I thought just replace that whole wire

 

When you say ohm to ground I’m assuming you’re saying the meter shows zero ohms, if that’s the case then you have a direct short. These things can be very difficult to diagnose so if you know what you’re doing, replacing the wires will more than likely be quicker and easier.

Not enough information. Parking lights are located front, side, rear and tags.

I am checking ohms front driver side
I have not checked it passenger side or rear
Am assuming the short is somewhere between the light and fuse box well at least I hope so I would hate to have to run all new wires for the whole Circuit

 

What is the symptom you're experiencing? Blown parking light fuse? I'd check the sockets of all the bulbs first and maybe even see if the problem goes away with the bulbs removed.

 

Tried that already no blue still short
Checked fuses all good
Anyone know where it plugged in at in the box? Tracing the same color wire back to the box may not be a problem if it goes to the panel under the dash first any ideas?

The purple wire and the white wire where the black tracer goes to the fuse box but if I unplugged them, the trailer lights still work
So maybe it goes to the panel under the dash first idk ‍♂️

 

Trailer Tail lights have there own fuse and relay.
