2004 Tacoma, regular cab 192k miles, one owner. Well maintained, but probably never got a wash tho . Spent the first few days cleaning it up, engine bay is in good shape, a heavy layer of dirt kept the rust away.

No body rust and normal amounts of under body rust for a 18yo truck. First mods will be a suspension overhaul. Ball joints and lower control arms, then any remaining rubber components.
This will be a fun project car.

Pretty sure it's not....it's a 4x4, the Carfax and window sticker just says std.
Yep, I got the original window sticker and even the original paperwork, bill of sale...the seller just handed it all over.

Automatic, pretty bare, no options...like no clock or cd player. It's totally stock. No mods or upgrades that I can tell. Gave it new plugs, air filter and have a fuel filter on its way. Hoping to find some nicer wheels or may just rattle can these for now.

Congratulations! I picked one up just like it a couple weeks ago. It will be my 3rd Tacoma. 1st gens are definitely they best if you can deal without all the modern stuff. I also did a front end overhaul with ball joints, tie rods, and cv axles. Be cautious when removing the bolts on the lower ball joints. I broke one off and it was a PITA. A suspension overhaul/lift is next on order for me

Driver LCA replaced, entire arm with bushing... passenger side bushings in a box...they seem fine me for now, will take care of them when the shocks get swapped. Also did both LBJs and added these sweet wheels and tires off FB Market...oh, also got a cargo cover. PXL_20210916_232044211.NIGHT.jpg
Rides much better, no odd shakes at high speed...these wheels were balanced by a local pro.

So I need to make space for a new project car. I haven't really been driving this truck much. I've used it for runs to Home Depot and hauling stuff around.
Second owner, fully maintained, new front suspension overhaul with quality parts. New tires are from 2023, About 4k miles on them. 205k miles on the truck as of today. Check my posts for additional upgrades.
Located in NJ. PM me with questions.
