Hello, I have been a long time Tacoma fan. My sister loaned me her ‘02 for a few years. I just acquired a ‘13 SR5 access cab 4x4 with a manual transmission and only 60k miles. I have 5 days left of the 7 day trial period and am about to take it to a local mechanic to put it up on a lift for an inspection. Fingers crossed! eee87861-fed6-4432-b6e4-c754b67068ac.jpg

The frame is the place a huge part of the inspection time should be spent.

Taco bodies have always impressed me as far as resisting rust goes, the frames should be so lucky if not taken care of.

60K miles gets you away from most of the age related normal repair issues and that mileage is nothing to a 2nd gen Taco. I'd do a drain and fill of fluids if there aren't any records of them being done.
