Hello, everyone. I've owned my 2005 Pre-Runner for about a year now and have finally reached the point where I want to start tuning it. I've looked at a few forums but haven't found one that discusses a good rim size and tire setup for everyday highway use(I use it to drive to and from college) and moderate offroad use.

    A good place to start.

265-70-16 or 265-65-17 with any reputable at tire. A 4x4 tacoma will go a lot further in stock form than most peoples version of “moderate off-road”.

If you truly wheel your rig, you need some upgrades.
