Anyone live near Manassas? Or routinely drives near there and Baltimore?

 

My barber since high school and sister are in Manassas, what's up?

 

They is a set of OME 2887x coil springs on FB I’m eyeing for $50.

I was talking with another member that had good luck swapping the Ironman 720# springs, like I have to OME springs. He changed to the 590# but these 660# might be good for me lol.

 

I'll be in Manassas Saturday, but can try to make it earlier for ya

Im not too concerned. I’ll see if he drops the price more too lol. If he still has them Friday I’ll see if I can work something out with him and for you to pick them up it it can be set up. I need to make sure that the springs for the 4Runner are the same as the Tacoma. I’m 99.9% sure the coils themselves are the same.

im not sure were he is there. He also doesn’t have a profile picture but looks like he’s sold a bunch of things and had a pic of the 4Runner. Showed VA tags too.

Good morning, did anyone go to the Fall Color Festival in Thurmont? I was there on Sunday, it has changed a lot, not very many artisans selling stuff, mostly people that look like they sell on fleabay or marketplace.

 

Steel frames for the win! Probably 5 or 6 years ago I dug out my old Univega triple butted CroMo frame and set it up for NCR/Freedom trail type of riding. I had forgotten how much "spring" a steel frame has. Its still a 7x3 setup with V brakes, just a blast to cruise around on.

 

I love steel bikes. I had a Pro Issue Trek 9900 MTB in 1996 that was carbon fiber. It was light, fast and unforgiving. Im old now so my speed days are behind me. I love the feel of steel. Here is a pic of my dads Fuji that I just restored and my wifes Trek 930. The color of her Trek is splendid. Hard to believe its 30 years old. Trek called that color Ice Cyan Blue.

 

Yup, we went sunday too. I think we walked it all...community park was artsie, outside of that i agree with fleabay comment...im always on the lookout for xbox games and those things called compact discs tho. Was fun, but picked up a stomach bug from the carnival food...that was not fun...sampled some good bourbons, pickles and hot sauce.

 

Does anyone have any recommendations for places that do a good job with paint correction?

Someone, I won’t mention any names, *cough* my wife *cough* scratched the f**** out of my tailgate today. Like all the way through the paint to the bare metal.
