LingyueAuto - Amazon seller - Bad experiences

Just wanted to pass on the experience that I had with this seller on Amazon.
I placed an order for a full set of EKR seat covers - The order was 2 days late, and then only contained the front seats. Communication with them would not allow me to just have them ship me the back seat. I had to return and reorder, after waiting 8 days....ok, so I did and then 6 days after I ordered, with the items listing IN STOCK, my order was summarily cancelled and refunded stating they were suddenly out of stock... almost a week after my order.
No concern from the seller....hell...NOTHING from the seller.

Just recommend that you avoid them.

 

Amazon for me is an absolute last resort. My priorities being, A)find it somewhere else for cheaper, B)find it anywhere else at any price, C)have a deep conversation with myself on whether I really, truly, honestly need it, D)fine, order it on Amazon.


The reason being is that I am under the impression that the entire site has gone drastically unfriendly and downhill in just the past year. Consumer protections were cut way, way back, support is non-existent, and returns are difficult. Any search for any item, even if you list the brand name, yields an ever increasing number of pages of sponsored listings before you find the item you want. And those sponsored listings are 90% chinese 3rd party vendors with, again, zero product support. Sometimes when I search for a part I never find it due to tens of pages of paid listings.

Yeah, screw that. AliExpress has better stuff than Amazon these days. At least they are honest about it.

 

Turns out that WalMart online - had the style EKR that I wanted, so I just ordered there. We will see if it is any better.

 

Could this be the down fall of Amazon? The on line market place side. I couldn't stand Amazon before I knew they cut consumer protections.
