Not bad hey!? Im planning on upgrading to Icon RXT leafs and maybe a small 1/4”-1/2” spacer up front depending on the rake. And a u bolt flip. Then I think I’ll be set for suspension!

Putting them on a 2014 TRD OR. Currently running 5100’s at the 3rd perch and an 1.5” AAL in the rear springs.

Just about finished with installing the rear Pro shocks, I’ll report back here in a few mins. My truck was at 22-1/4” RF, 22-0” LF, 23-0” LR & 23-1/4” RR before install.

Edit - my rears came in at 23-1/2” both sides, that’s measured from center of hub to the fender. I’ll update everyone on where the fronts end up

Any chance you could post the oem part numbers off the front suspension? I haven’t been able to find them posted elsewhere and I’m curious to look up what dealerships are charging.

I’ve been shopping around for a used set and haven’t found any yet. You scored for $1500 CAD! Nice work!

    Thanks.

Fronts are in, I’m at 22-1/4” both sides. My truck is now at 22-1/4” RF, 22-1/4” LF, 23-1/2” LR & 23-1/2” RR after install. Looks like I didn’t lose anything really, just gained a bit in the back.

Impressions - Truck handles much better now, feels more planted and firm if that makes sense. The Fox Pro shocks seem to be good at soaking up road “chatter” along with eating the big bumps and whoops no prob. I’m going to take the truck out bushwhacking for the holiday weekend, give the shocks a good test on some of the gnarlier mountain lake trails I haven’t visited in a while.

I’m very happy with the Fox Pro’s, especially for the money I paid ($1500 for a 2022 set w/ 2k on them). Solid upgrade for a 2nd Gen Tacoma, but I think you will need an AAL to be somewhat level and I wonder how much the weight of my canopy makes a difference in the rear

Awesome summary man. Another reason I haven’t done mine is because I’m undecided about the rear of the truck. Glad you mentioned the add a leaf

I’ve decided to save up for a beefier leaf pack as I use my truck for work and camping. Also got a bigger canopy, so would imagine an add a leaf might not cut it

    Flatbed
Hello, first post here.. I have a 2006 Tacoma access cab with a flatbed on it, and am going to put a steel winch bumper on the front. I am looking for an affordable entry point to upgrade my suspension, with possibly a lift or level. (Currently my stock suspension is shot, and my leaf springs are bagged out with the flatbed installed)
I found a 2022 Tacoma SR suspension setup available or a 2020 TRD Sport also for sale.
I've read the lift benefits of the 2020 TRD sport, but I'm curious if anyone knows how that would compare to the 22 SR.
Only obvious benefit to the 22 SR I can see is that it's 2 years newer suspension parts..
    Thanks!
