Off to Cincinnati again this am for my last eye surgery checkup. Still have a little double vision, probably not going away. I can live with it. I guess my sharpshooter days are over. We're in pretty good condition for our age, and grateful for that. I'll get some new glasses made, then be done with eye problems, hopefully.

edit: Good trip, no rain. Their roadwork winding down on the roads we have to use.. YAH! Don't like detours on roads I'm not familiar with. Cincy has weird roads that wind in and out of the river bottoms, and there are always detours, making it worse. Different trip every time, and they work 24/7. Can't learn it. TG for GPS. Wife drove, I ran the gps.. I use an old one that I used on the job years ago. Bigger than a phone screen, still updated, works great.

Good morning. Getting cooler, 39 degrees here this morning. Headed to the beach on Thursday for a cousin's weekend. Should be a good weekend. Today is a guitar lesson and some light grocery shopping.

So glad to see you are back on here!
Finally got in touch with my bud on Merritt Island (east coast). They had a little damage from flying debris from neighbors, but their parents 5 houses down had front and back doors blown out. Then not a few more houses down the destruction started! Direct path of a tornado! Total destruction. Very sad!

A warm day today with a cooldown starting tomorrow. Fall may finally be arriving!

Kettlebell morning! Then cleaning up to take the better half to the airport for a family visit in PA. After dropping her off, I’ll return home to finish blowing out the sprinkler system. Got mostly done yesterday, just need a little more, then check all the valves out.

Finally, probably take the granddaughter out for dinner. I’ll start making dinners while grandma is gone tomorrow. Busy couple of weeks.

Have a fine fall day everyone! Stay safe out there!

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! It's NOT already 80+ outside, it's still 66*! And nicely breezy. I got neck therapy at 11, then I'm going to putz as much as I can outside to enjoy it. Only supposed to get to the 70's. Fine. Tomorrow and past will go back to 80's, but that's the "average", and will feel better than 90+ for sure. Oh, still 40 days with no rain, but I will happily take the cold front!

    NOT YOU TOO! :(

We both hunted these places all of our lives and there were plenty of deer, ever since Pa went to "deer management", AKA kill all the doe, things have gone progressively downhill!, other places that we hunted on mountains are now "OFF LIMITS", both too far and hard to access and then there's getting them out if we would get one.
