Had this lift installed on my 21' Tacoma in Oct 22'. Less than 10k on the truck since as it is not a daily driver. Coating on coils is peeling off and one shock is leaking. Rough Country is standing by their warranty and will send me a new pair but worried I'll just have the same result in a year or 2. Anyone else experience issues like this with their 3" kits or M1 coil overs?

Keeping getting warranty as long as you can. But the simple fact of the matter is that Rough Country is just crap. There's a reason nobody recommends it. It exists to be cheap and you get what you pay for. Suspension is one of those things you really don't want to cheap out on though or else you end up with problems such as this.

What's up with the gap in the upper winding of the coil on your 1st pic? Is the spring broken?

But yeah I think these Rough Country non-drop-bracket kits were RC's attempt to court those who wanted big lift but didn't want to modify their frame for a drop bracket kit (3.5" is far too much lift without DBs). Change it out while your CV joints and steering rack are still good (assuming they are... You didn't mention them). You probably can keep the RC UCAs since you already have them, just throw a pair of Bilstein 5100s on there.
