Obviously a late reply but I think JW welding is the only place I know of with some open time on Saturday.

Now’s the time to go take fun Halloween pictures if any of yall like to do that. Fog is nuts. This might be the most pure fog I’ve seen in reno in my 3.5 years. No rain/snow just fog. Looks so cool lol

I’ve been meaning to get a Noco. We use one at work and it’s pretty small and will jump start a ford 7.3 on a cold morning easily.

I have some shitty Walmart jumper I got a while ago for cheap that I thankfully haven’t needed, but worked on a friends Subaru just fine.

I've bought some cheapo's from Amazon and even Costco, they get the job done. However last year we had some Ford points from when we bought our Bronco and they had miscellaneous accessories you could cash in the points on, one of them being a nice Noco GB70 jump starter and case. I got that thing and let me say, it simply does not compare to the cheaper ones. Well worth the money vs the tempting $50 jumper packs. The cheap ones are good for something like a 4cyl car, motorcycle, SxS etc, but the Noco packs so much more punch it's ridicuous. And it lasts many more jumps than the smaller/cheaper ones. It also comes with some accessory cables that allow it to have an output of a 12v cigarette socket which is convenient for things like my camp fridge if I needed to run it after my Jackery dies.

@RelentlessFab I stopped by today with the long bed so we could measure for the sliders. I think you had better things to do and were probably out 4 wheeling lol

Just carry a couple extra batteries. Not only do you not need a charger, you can get yourself some stick rods and have a nifty trail welder!

As a matter of fact, yes!
Caught a last minute invite to go run Fordyce with Dissent Fab and Stellar built so we bailed on work for that. LMK when you could swing it by again and I'll put it on my schedule :)

Anyone have a recommendation for an audio shop here in town? Having an issue with a rear right speaker randomly flaring up and spitting static going extra loud. Already swapped the connection from vehicle harness to speaker. About to re do the input side of the amp I’ve got in there cus if I wiggle the wires around on the input side I can get some static/feedback. If the connector with some not amazingly pinned wires isn’t the culprit I honestly would rather have a shop fix it. Wires give me the most headaches and I don’t have the tools nor electrical know how to test ends of wires to see which one is causing the problem

also easier for them to be able to swap in on hand replacement hardware to troubleshoot

MO music off of Stanford. I sold forklifts for years across the street from them. Anything audio ever done to my trucks or jeeps was done there
