I have been watching to see if anyone else is having similar issues with the sunroof leaking. I have no problems with just rain, but the car wash is another matter. I do consistently have a small leak when I go through the car wash. I have also noticed on the back power window I will have a few drops of water on the inside of the window after the wash. The truck is going in soon for its first service check and I plan to bring it up but was curious if anyone else had a similar experience. I have also noticed on the roof, the piece of trim that sits at the back of the roof line seems to have some pieces of it that have chipped off? I can't really tell but I will take a few pics and post them in another thread.

Depending on the type of car wash you use, the dryers at the end of the tunnel can flex the windows and even push a few drops of water through.

That is a strong possibility on the back window. I have noticed the sunroof is prior to the dryers and during the high-pressure wash portion.

Before I traded it for a 2024 Taco SR5, I had a 2012 Highlander. It developed a leak around the sunroof also. Turned out it was just a plugged up weephole for water drainage. Borrowed my son's compressor and blew it out gently. Problem solved! (It did take a minute to find the opening hole though).

The Owners Manual for my 2017 says not to use car washes if you have a sunroof, guessing the 24 says something similar.

My RAV4 will get a little water in the sunroof when I run through the touchless carwash. The high pressure/high volume water will get through at the right angle.
