Oh there will be some mods all right
You should just try out some extended length bilsteins. No fanciness involved.

Wasn't 'bagging' on them. Was poking fun at the situation with the 'always on sale' remarks and what have you.
Reminded me of a SNL skit they did for the Jos. A. Bank suits. :D

They may be a new player for you, but they've been around for quite a while. Their story is kind of interesting... https://ironman4x4america.com/about-us/

I've got over 80,000 miles on the Bilsteins and they are still ticking. I'm torn between replacing with the same stuff, or maybe trying out the OME MT64 next.

My understanding is that some of the boutique brands are designed to be rebuilt periodically. It seems like the lifespan varies depending on use.

Yeah that would be frustrating for sure. I think with Ironman offering a different “gasless” approach, they would be a logical next step. It might be exactly what you’re looking for. I’ve heard of them leaking oil at times, but since they don’t rely on a gas charge; supposedly they keep working the same until too much oil is gone.

On your rear dobs, are they adjustable? Does changing the settings help at all?

Are they starting to leak or?

wonder if maybe the shafts are getting nicked up causing the seals to blow out. May need The guards or booties to help protect them

i have a set of Locked Offroad shocks that will be going in front very soon. I'll let you know my opinion. General consensus seem very positive for them.

Seems like the only viable option!

Yes. I am already looking. Was considering an FJZ rearend, but a Dana 60 is SO much less money... It is coming. Need my fabricators to get better. Last years seniors were awesome, so we have a ways to go... Future endeavor

    That is interesting!

Would that eliminate the leaf springs?
