Currently I have 245/75r16 tires and I'm looking to put on some 265/75r16 nitto ridge grapplers on my stock rims. I'm just wondering if that will work out. I do plan on putting a 2 inch bilstein leveling kit on in the future as well.

YES, well... I guess, as my stock 6 lug rims had 265/70r-16s... and the 265/75r-16 are an inch taller. No rub, either... Nice!

Tires will work, no lift needed.

Keep in mind level is for looks. Rake is for function.

If you need a truck for truck stuff rake is your friend

I would like to do the opposite. I am driving on 265/70R17. I’m thinking of putting 245/70R17 to the 265 rim. Would that be safe?

The 265 is using more gas. The 245/70R17 will put the overall tire width and height back to the OEM 16” wheel. I really like the 4Runner SR rim on my Tacoma. Thx

You're overthinking this. Yes it will fit. You won't see any measurable difference in fuel mileage or performance for such a small change in tire size.

here is she is with 265/75R16 - like I said my very first mod - didn't even need to remove the mud flaps. Notice; the second mod was rock sliders . . . . after almost ripping off the Predator Steps but don't worry about that if you are not going off road on anything serious. [IMG]

95% of it washed off. Most of it was the brush leaving streaks in the intense dust coating the truck. There are only a few actual scratches.

Op here’s a setup you might want to take inspo from,IMG_3961.jpgIMG_3983.jpgIMG_3973.jpg IMG_3663.jpg 265 75 16 stock wheels, 1.25 inch wheel spacers, billstein 5100 all around set to 1.5” passenger side and 2” driver side with 1 inch rear blocks. Definitely add rear blocks or AAL if you’re going to do 2 inches up front. You will be squatting all the time otherwise and even worse when loaded or accelerating. Perfect daily driver setup. Go for the tires and billsteins!

Definitely nice set up for a daily driver that is not going to do any serious off road stuff (just gravel travel, dirt roads, forrest roads etc.). The Bilsteins will give you a much better ride for sure. I would do the AAL rather than a block but either is good as long as you get the the lift. With the stock wheels and 265/75R16 why the spacers unless I guess you want a little more poke? As long as you are getting no rubbing - no harm, no foul. But, yeah - overall great setup - looks good.

Wheel spacers are indeed just for some poke. No rubbing, however when I was on stock suspension the spacers caused the tire to rub on the fender flare plastic - I had To trim some of the plastic off
