Is it a safety issue? The only time I shave is when I go to the barber who cuts my hair and trims everything up. I work from home though

Technically yes. If you work in environments that require dust masks or respirators you are supposed to be shaved around the area where a mask makes contact. I work in a lab, but theoretically I could go sampling in a dusty part of our plant... therefore I'm supposed to be tested for masks annually.

 

Makes sense. I work for a healthcare company but within corporate but still have to abide by rules that are put forth in our clinical space. ( ie annual flu shots and tb tests)

I went full shag beard during early "C" 'til I realized what a load of crap it was and just grew back the sides and wore the stupid mask over my full beard when stupervisors were around. I personally can't pull off the Tom Selleck porn stache ... if you can, I'd rock that.
