Check Antenna Message

I recently got a 2021 Tacoma Limited. The radio has terrible reception. The XM will not work at all, says to “check antennae”. I have pulled the radio out and checked the connections, checked the antenna wires, and tried a reset. I also downloaded four software updates and updates that with no change. I’ve sent refresh signals to the XM. What am I missing?

 

Somebody will be along with more audio experience than me. IIRC my 2021 Off Road has three antennas connected to the back of the radio. One for GPS, one for XM and one for AM/FM; did you find THREE antenna connections? Perhaps the previous owner did some work or removal of modifications and left something disconnected before you took possession.
