Search sort tools?

How easy would it be to add a sort tool to the search function?

Example, I remember a single key word in a thread title that I saw a few days ago and wish to revisit. That word, unfortunately, was "Manual."

I was thinking to myself, if I had a sort tool to arrange results by [date of thread creation] [date of last post] [number of posts in the thread] I would have found it in less than 30 seconds.

 

Not this?

 

Actually, this. I sometimes go looking for the largest thread on a subject.



I never really drilled down on the search screen to find this feature though.
