Has anyone else installed these, and noticed there is a fair amount of slop with how they fit to the bed? The OEMs fit nice and snug...looks like I'll be wrapping them with electrical tape.

I never installed them, but Morimoto lights are made in China. I don't know the quality, or how low long they last. There is no guarantee to fit, like in your case. I recommend keep the OEM bedlights, if still have them. Just in case Morimoto lights fail.

I installed OEM. The price for OEM was not so high that I cheaped-out for just $10 savings. OEM fit fine, no electrical issues.

I also install VLED-brand LED taillights instead of buying $39.99 cheap-outs. Even with the new harness that has different logic for the lights the electrical system has shown no issues.
