Anyone know of angled license plate lights for the 3rd Gen?

My factory rear bumper had an unfortunate incident where the right corner came off--my son was driving and still doesn't recall what he backed into! So I wound up replacing the rear bumper with a Fab 4 Premium bumper for less than the dealer wanted to relace/fix the OEM one. The bumper is solid, and I pity any one who rear ends me (and probably my back because I'm assuming more of that crash energy is going to be translated into the frame). My only issue with the new bumper was that it relocated the angle of the license plate lights. This was slightly exacerbated by the fact that in getting the factory bumper removed I cracked the bulb on one of my license plate lights and so saw the "opportunity" to upgrade to the Diode Dynamic license plate lights. Those things are bright! But combined with the new angle on the bumper, they were like rear facing headlights--I was worried I'd get pulled over just because of how much light they were emitting, and not on the license plate.

As an interim, and maybe permeant fix, a friend printed me some covers that slide right onto the DD license plate lights (and the stock ones too, for that matter). Makes a world of difference.

Just wondering if anyone found a different solution. Thanks!

(PS - I have no idea whey we all black out our license plates--but I did anyway. If you want to, and have the ability to look me up by my plates, then come on over for a beer).

    This and that
Looks like a job well done. Only certain people can actually look you up through a license plate.

It may actually just be the permeant solution. The finish on those things is great, and the light gets directed right back to the license plate!
