    Aloha everyone,

I've been doing a lot of reading lately and I just upgraded my 2012 sport non jbl steering wheel controls to the black version 14/15. I was able to connect pin 9 from S8 to ground for illumination, when I connected a wire to pin 3 to connect to pin 24 on white connector to radio of 28 pin plug I noticed the wiring harness has only 20 pins.

For reference the truck had an aftermarket stereo when I bought it, I installed an android tablet radio after that and everything worked fine. Since I upgraded the controls a few days ago I went back in and noticed it had the 20 pin not the 28 pin and can't figure out which pin to put the wire in to get the rest of the controls to work on the steering wheel. I pulled the vin on toyota and it's a non jbl but has the 20 pin.

Not sure which pin gets the rest of the buttons to work. It had factory Bluetooth and telephone buttons on the wheel. The ones that don't work on the 14 buttons are the left/right arrows, the center button, and the return button.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks guys sorry for the long explanation I just couldn't find any info on it, been searching for a while.

    Chris

So it's been almost 2 weeks.. Nobody has an idea as to which wire to tap into on the radio harness?
