This is after the truck's been sitting overnight. Should I add some or is this normal?

I wouldn't. Do this instead: Check it when it's hot/fully warmed up and running. Best to do this when it has been out for an extended run. If it's below the "Full Hot" line, add just enough to bring it to that line.

Check it again when it is overnight-cold: it should be somewhere between the two lines. If it is, don't stress over/about where it is within that range.

    Welcome to TacomaWorld!

Thank you for the welcome! So if after an extended run the coolant is below the full hot line can I add some when it's still hot or do I need to mark how much more I need and add when the truck has cooled down fully?

I'd fill it. If you put too much in it will spill/purge out the overflow tube near the top anyway.

    Fill it half way.

Also check your coolant bypass from under the truck on the passenger side, look up through the Cat and it's right at 12 o'clock above the bell housing.

Hopefully doesn’t need to be said, but only fill the reservoir when hot. Please don’t open the radiator cap when hot.

Nearly every vehicle in the world uses a little coolant, if you dont see any drops on the ground its nothing to worry about. Top it up, near full but not all the way to full.

It depends: if it's a little below the "full hot" mark: monitor it: Coolant expands (a lot) according to temperature. In summer it will be higher than in winter. What you want to avoid is over-filling the bottle and blowing expensive $24/ gallon Toyota OEM coolant out of the overflow bottle and cap.
