Check it out. It's fun enough to keep it a yearly tradition.

My buddy and I will be heading out to Anza this coming Sunday, 10/27. Already have plans for Saturday. Probably going to hit the west side of S2 first, Mortero Canyon/Jojoba Canyon. Then cruise up to Canyon Sin Nombre to go through Diablo Drop Off and out Fish Creek Wash. Nothing to terribly difficult, my truck is very well built, but I've also done all this on a basic 3" lift.

Hell yeah, I'm all about traditions. We have plenty in the Navy

I've got the king bling and deaver leafs in the back but I kept the front sitting at stock height (I like the rake) You think I'd be alright still?

Yeah that wouldn't be an issue. Might scrape a rock or two if you aren't careful. Diablo Dropoff is easy to go down, may be a challenge to get up at stock height, depends on how rough it is. Haven't been down it since before summer. Before my current setup, I did everything there with a Dobinsons lift with MRA 3" coilovers in front and MRR's and leaf packs in the rear with 33" tires and it is pretty easy. Now I have a 2.25" LT in the front, SUA in the rear, 37" tires and a dual case setup.

Here is a video of a few trucks going down Diablo Dropoff:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHDn9iBcYwo

Again, going down is easy. Gravity. Going up can be a challenge if it is really crossed whooped out.

My buddy has a 2007 Tundra, coilovers in the front, hanger lift in the rear w/ 35" tires.

This is where we usually start:

Need to confirm with him about going and timing and I can let you guys know if you want to join.

Yeah please do. I'll talk to the wife and see if we can come out. I'm getting fresh KO2s tomorrow, but noticed my driver side CV boot busted. I'm hoping to have it fixed before the weekend though.

Also, I got cobra walkies, but I can grab a baofeng off Amazon if you guys use ham.

I have a set of Cobra FRS walkies, as well as a set of Baofeng UV-5G GMRS only (no HAM) radios:

    Busted CV boots suck.

That is a fun route too.

    We usually start here:
    https://maps.app.goo.gl/1iqE3i6Y4nDh18nB9

Go back around the rail road tracks and come out here:
    https://maps.app.goo.gl/wYADhqSznXbbheZx9

The up the road to Canyon Sin Nombre here:
    https://maps.app.goo.gl/9jn9ECAbm6G4co1J9

From there we hit Vallecito Wash here and go left:
    https://maps.app.goo.gl/qjA6XrZu68dL81qn9

Then depending on our day, we can go left to the mud caves and up around or go right straight to diablo dropoff. Just depends on how much time we have and how much time we want to spend out there. I have GPS tracks of everything, but they are on my other laptop and would need to share them out.
