Morning MD, did the first oil change with the fumoto- game changer!

 

Nice! If I ever had to change the oil myself I get that or the other quick change valve. Luckily, my truck came with oil changes for life from Jones Junction. Not having to mess with that every 10k miles is nice

everything else, I do myself. Well, everything I can. Might let them do the brake fluid since the OR is more of a pain and transmission if/when I decide on that. I know my luck with things like that, so I’ll let them mess it up

I’ve seen them too and have been a victim. Well from their Nissan service. They didn’t fully tighten the oil drain plug and it leaked some in our garage. I checked the oil, tighten the plug and brought it back. They did another oil change, and offered to send someone to come clean up the mess. I said no and they cave me 2 cans of cleaner, can’t remember what kind and some kitty litter type material to clean it up. Worked out.

They do try and upsell things but when I ask them to show me in the maintenance guide where it says it’s due and can’t find it, that shuts them down.

 

I had a great first experience doing an oil change with Fumoto back in April.

 

Anyone looking for a remote start? N2 just released their “key takeover”… as far as I know it’s the only one like it. After remote start, the truck will NOT turn off when you get in, just put in gear and drive. Even Toyotas remote start ain’t that nice. Just thought I’d share since winter is coming and a warm truck is always nice! Just ordered mine!

The one I got is, yes. But they have remote starts for keyed Tacos as well… just not sure of their features.

ooohhh snap. If I could get a remote start that allowed me to just put the truck in drive and go without using the key….game changer.

 

Looks like they have versions for the keyed and keyless Tacomas but for the keyed versions you still have to insert the key to put the truck into drive. Still super cool though.

 

You guys are making me TRY to remember how to remote start my truck for winter...lol
