Hi guys so I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma double cab with 4 power windows, and I'm running into a strange issue. Whenever I disengage the power window LOCK button on the drivers master panel, my passenger side front window rolls down completely, then is unresponsive for a few seconds before becoming completely responsive again from the driver's panel. If I try to control the window at all while it's doing this, I am unable to control it at afterwards and have to press and release the button for it to run it's cycle undisturbed to regain control. The window switch and door lock controls on the passenger panel are also completely unresponsive always. I know it sounds like an obviously bad passenger switch panel, but my older brother owned this truck before me and said that he added an auto window switch to the passenger side window as a mod. I know that those types of mods sometime require moving pins around on the harness so I am at a crossroads as to what I should do. I don't see any passenger switch panels for sale that include the door lock controls, only the switches. I am also wondering if the window lock button itself could have something to do with it? The auto passenger switch is backlit, so I know that it's receiving power, but the behavior and unresponsiveness are my main suspicions. How would I go about diagnosing the issue? I understand there are a lot of variables but if someone has any insight that could help I'd greatly appreciate it!
