I signed into the Toyota connect app and it prompted me to allow or deny Toyota connect services. I denied because i am tired of being exploited for my data. Nonetheless, i promptly received the below email.

Was there recent legislation that made opting in or out a choice?

i know this has been a topic of discussion on here but i never knew there was an option to opt out until now.

Curious if they will reconnect it if you ever request it later. Do they also have a phone number since you can't call via the button.

On the fence about disconnecting due to this only.
